SeqLog collects nothing about you. There is no account to create, no analytics SDK, no telemetry, no crash reporter, and no server of ours that your notes ever touch.

Your vault is a folder of .md files on your own disk. SeqLog reads and writes those files. That is the whole data model.

Who is responsible

SeqLog is published by:

For anything in this policy — including a request to see, correct or delete data — write to hello@agilebyte.cc. We answer in English or Chinese.

What stays on your Mac

Everything you write: notes, journal entries, page titles, tags, links and any images you drag in. There is no index, no cache database and no sync service, so there is nothing to upload even in principle. Delete the app and the folder is still there, readable in any text editor.

When SeqLog touches the network

Three times, and none of them carry your notes.

This website

No analytics, no cookies, no tag manager, no third-party requests. The fonts are served from this domain, not a CDN. The site is static files on Cloudflare, whose server logs record requests as described above.

What we do not do

Children

SeqLog is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the change will be described in the release notes of the version it applies to.
